    Smileys covering words

    Hi moderators

When typing a post on my mobile, I see on the right of the screen, smileys, which cover the words as I type. Because of this, one or two words are covered by the smiley or smileys, making it is difficult to spot whether the words covered are misspelled. Inconvenienced, I submit the thread and edit it because by doing so, I no longer see smileys on the screen.

Could anything be done to remove this problem?

    Thanks.

Are you using the Android app or are you trying to use it via a browser on your mobile?

Are you using the UsingEnglish app at all or do you only access the website via your mobile browser?

I have an iPhone and the site is unusable on my mobile browser (and, as yet, there is no iOS app available). I use the site only on my laptop.

    Re: Smileys covering words

Thanks, emsr2d2. In the past I used my mobile to access the forum and it went smoothly. I did it the same way as on my desktop computer. The problem started since the revamp of the system, I think.

    Hi there,
I believe this is fixed now (I have removed the smileys from the right side of the post box since there's a toolbar button for them).
Let me know if that works for you :)
I'm not a teacher, so please consider any advice I give in that context.

    Thanks, Red5.

The smileys are no longer there. The problem has been solved.
