Was Sent Or Was Send? which one is correct.

The invoice was sent to your head office on dated 26-apr-17.

Delete 'dated'' and capitalise 'Apr' to make the sentence correct.

(The date may be written in many other ways.)

Try to be clearer by saying, e.g., "sent by courier", "emailed" or "posted" instead of "sent."

    NOT A TEACHER

    Hello, Nisha Shafi:

ACTIVE: Someone sent (past tense of "send") the invoice to your head office on April 17, 2017.

PASSIVE: The invoice was sent (past participle of "send") to your head office on April 17, 2017. send/sent/sent

    Some more examples:

This letter was written yesterday (NOT "write"). write/wrote/written
This cake was bought yesterday (NOT "buy"). buy/bought/bought
This umbrella was left here yesterday (NOT "leave"). leave/left/left

Re: Was Sent Or Was Send? which one is correct.

Please click on Edit Post and capitalise the first letter of each sentence. Also note that you can write "OK" or "okay", so at the start of a sentence, you can use either "OK" or "Okay".

Also note that we do not start a question with "How to". Reword your question.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
