    Smile future continuous

    Hello everybody,

    I have a question:

If I say `Our tennis team will be practising at 11 am on Sunday.`

    1) Can this sentence only mean that this action will start before 11 am, because this tense means that something will be in progress at a certain point of time or would you understand that the practising will start at 11 am on Sunday?

    2) Would the progressive aspect still come into play if this action in the future is the result of a routine since we always practise at 11 am on Sundays and we want the listener to know this?

    Looking forward to your answers,

    Joern

    Re: future continuous

Only context or prior knowledge can tell you whether the words suggest that the practice begins at or before 11 am.

So could it start before 11 or at 11 dependIng on the context and prior knowledge?
