    Space being limited

Space being limited on islands, dragon territories overlap and that creates countinual conflict.

At this sentence, Can I replace ''being limited'' with ''which is limited'' ?

    Thanks for your help!

    Re: Space being limited

No. The sentence would have to go on to say something about space: Space, which is limited on islands, is not sufficient to prevent continual conflict. In my example, the underlined part relates to "space".
