    Check for correction

    hi,

Could you please check the following sentences for any mistakes?

My father always drives fast, so does my brother.
My father always drives fast, so my brother does.

    Thanks in advance

    Re: Check for correction

The second doesn't work at all.

The first would be OK if you replaced the comma with either a full stop (followed by a capital letter), a semi-colon or a dash.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    I made some changes:

My father always drives fast, and so does my brother.

My father always drives fast. So does my brother. My father always drives fast-So does my brother.
The second doesn't work at all.
    How about the following?
    My father always drives fast,
    as my brother does.

And, are there any differences in their meanings, in examples below?

My father always drives fast, and so does my brother.

My father always drives fast, as my brother does.

My father always drives fast-So does my brother. You need a space each side of the dash (it's not a hyphen) and the word "so" should not be capitalised after the dash.
    See above.
