    The letterland?!

    Hello everyone,
I am a new member in your lovely site. Also, I'm a new English teacher. I start teaching English last October. I taught grade five and seven. I was wonderful. Well, next year I am going to teach grade one and two. WOW!
With second graders I don’t have any problem. However, when I ever think in my first graders one question comes to my mind: How I am going to teach them the Alphabets? I searched the net and I read about the “Letters land”. I like it and I feel that it is a great method used in teaching the Alphabets in a fun way.
I wonder if any can help me know more about it like the advantages and disadvantages, the best way to apply it, and what materials I should start collect for it. Are there different methods for teaching the Alphabets?
So, if you have the answers help me, please?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
Thanks tdol for answering me. I’m sure I’ll find what I’m looking for there. I just need some time to dig all those files. Thanks again you made my day.
