Below is a five-paragraph essay on 'Holidays' written by me. Could anyone read it and let me know if there is any awkward/unnatural phrase?
Holidays play such a significant role in everyone's daily life that no one can continue living life without them. Students particularly benefits most from holidays because they they experience a three-month holiday after schools finishes. Out of numerous advantages of holidays, three of them are of higher importance compared with the other ones.
There is a proverb saying 'No play makes Jack a dull boy', implying that one should not always gets oneself stuck with business and pays no attention to one's entertainment, amusement, and happiness. If you all the time keep yourself involved in tasks you are assigned with, it is very likely that you will get old in a twinkle of an eye. Thus, after years of working you find yourself a feeble old person who has not succeeded in enjoying your life happily and this is not something you can make it up later on.
Holidays are an exceptional opportunity to energise yourself as well as replenish your vigour and zeal. When you are mentally in a relaxed mood, you can perform more effectively at work so that you would be more likely to get promotion, plus, your colleagues would enjoy most being in your company at work. When you get back home after working all day long, you can't spend your free time being with your family and talking with the members of your family because you are perturbed that you are going you go to work the next day and are not able to focus on your children or wife.
The third reason why holidays are undoubtedly necessary for each and every individual is that one can use this opportunity and take a trip to another city or even country if one is rich enough, of course! Taking a trip can be really stimulating and bracing at times. Going out with your family or friends and hanging out with them in forests, mountains, beaches put your mind at ease and makes you feel cool. Note that the quantity of holidays does not matter at all, but what matters most is how you spend it. For what is is worth, I personally have always tried to get most out of every official or non-official holidays I have.
In conclusion, in order for you to live a better and healthier life, you need to take some days off at work. You are highly recommended that you choose a place to visit or hang out in along with your family to energise both you and people around you, in particular, your spouse and kids. Consequently, when you get back to work you can do your job more efficiently so that an increase in your salary or even a promotion would await you!
