    Can one say
    a. He says he has played professional football. Big deal! I have also played professional football!
    b. He says he has played professional football. Big deal! I also have played professional football!

    Of those two, the first is much preferable. However, note that most native speakers wouldn't use such a repetitive third sentence. They'd say "Big deal! So have I!"
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
