    Using restult in

Please help me with these sentences. They are correct, aren't they?

    1. Taking abortion pills might result in the death of your child.
    2. Taking abortion pills might result in your child dying.
    3. Taking abortion pills might result in you losing your child.

    4. This will result in the router to reboot.
    5. This will result in the rebooting of the router.

    Thx

    Re: Using restult in

In 1, 2 and 3, change 'might' to 'will'.

4 is wrong; 5 is OK.

Thanks. Could you please pay attention to the modified sentence no. 4

    4. This will result in the router rebooting.

    Is it still wrong?

That's correct. You can also write "the router's rebooting. The apostrophe S isn't necessary, though.

    Re: Using restult in

Initially, I thought you were suggesting that 4/5 were logical knock-on effects of 1/2/3!
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
