    What does "store-front churches" mean? What are "store-front churches" exactly?

    American cities are full of underused commercial property, left vacant when the shops that used to occupy them closed down or moved to shopping plazas and malls on the edges of town. These "store-fronts" can be rented very cheaply, so it's easy to set up a church in one. Store-front churches typically have newer and poorer congregations.
