    Outside a concert hall

I am wondering if my sentence is grammatically correct. I know that the sentence is long, but I didn't know how to make it shorter.

Outside a concert hall, a massive crowd gathered, as if the whole town wanted to come inside and listen to the young pianist who critics called a genius.

    Re: Outside a concert hall

Use "go" instead of "come"; and consider using "the concert hall", especially if you're referring to a specific/known one.

    Re: Outside a concert hall

To break it up, you could make two sentences.

Outside a/the concert hall, a massive crowd gathered. It was as if the whole town wanted to come and listen to the young pianist critics were calling a genius.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
