    Good to/Good for

It is good to your health.

Why for is correct? What's the difference?
Thank you for your help and corrections!

    Re: Good to/Good for

The first is not natural. The second is OK.

    Re: Good to/Good for

There's little logic in the choice of prepositions. You just have to learn which one goes where.

Always remember to invert the subject and the verb when you write a question. Write "Why is for correct?"
    I am not a teacher.

    Re: Good to/Good for

I can't think of a context in which I would use It is good to you.

You can ask "is he good to you?" but I agree with Piscean on this, I can't think of when I would use that.

    Re: Good to/Good for

If it referred to an organisation that was being helpful or kind, it might just about work.
