    usage of the adverb sensationally

I learned a new word when I read a magazine two days ago.

According to the online dictionary learnersdictionary, sensational means causing very great excitement or interest with shocking details.

I would like to learn how to use it as an adverb by making up a few examples with it.

    (1) Professor X has invented an amazing robot which helps police find criminals successfully. His invention
    sensationally makes news.

    (2) The media are
sensationally presenting the news about Professor X's invention.

The local reporters sensationally reported on a man who murdered three people last night.

Yesterday, I asked my non-native English speaking friends to check my sentences. They said that they were not sure if I used the adverb correctly. Please check to see if I am using it correctly. Thank you so much for your time. I really appreciate your help.

Re: usage of the adverb sensationally

The sentences are not natural. Although sensationally may exist, it isn't used often.
