The new housing project will contain

I am not sure if my sentence is grammatically correct. Is it correct to write "housing project will contain"?

The new housing project will contain beside a few dozen luxurious houses, an Olympic swimming pool, a sports hall, a library, a supermarket, and other social facilities.

Re: The new housing project will contain

You need a comma after 'contain', and I suspect you mean 'besides' (in addition to) rather than 'beside' (next to'). If you do mean 'beside', then it's not very natural. I' duse 'alongside'.

I will repeat my sentence after Piscean corrections just as an exercise.

The new housing project will contain, besides a few dozen luxurious houses, an Olympic swimming pool, a sports hall, a library, a supermarket, and other social facilities.

Re: The new housing project will contain

I think the usual usage in American English is "Olympic-size swimming pool".

Re: The new housing project will contain

That's almost certainly more natural in British English, too. Sorry, Bassim. I did not spot that.
