    Help me

In this sentence: You should known that every one in this office........busily planning the dance for a week.
    Has 2 choices:
    1. is
    2. has been
I am not sure for two choices.
    Please help me explain?

    Re: Help me

My choice is has been, because the duration is marked by the preposition for.

"You should know that everyone in this office has been busily planning the dance for a week.", means that "You are supposed to know that everyone in this office has been planning the dance for a week"[ the action still continues]

    You are welcome.

ps. "wonderful" is a superlative itself. You should not use "very" with "wonderful".

    see also :splendid, exquisite,terrible, etc.

    All the best,
