    Reported Speech when using questions

    Hello, I wanted to ask how we could write this sentence in reported speech. "Where did you do your training last week"

    She asked us...........................

    Do i continue you with

    She asked us where did we do our training the previous week.
    or
    She asked us when had we done our training the previous week.

    1. She asked us where we did our training last week.
    2. She asked us where we had done our training last week.
    3. She asked us where we had done our training the previous week
    .

    #1 and #2 are both possible if uttered in the week following the training. Backshifting is possible (#2) but not obligatory (#1).
    #3 is appropriate if uttered more than a week after the training.
