    Linda's friends wondered how

I am wondering if my sentences are grammatically correct.

Linda's friends wondered how she could have forgiven her husband after he was unfaithful. She told them it was easier to forgive than bear grudges.

The final infinitive needs a to.

I would use the 'to', but I don't think it's essential.

I'd change "bear" to "hold." In AmE, grudges tend to be spoken of as things that people hold.

    Re: Linda's friends wondered how

Another BrE vs AmE difference. "To bear a grudge" is much more common in BrE.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
