    Lightbulb Word formation process

    Hi teacher,

I am very much interested in broadening my vocabulary by learning the English word formation process. The idea is to understand how words are created by adding prefixes or suffixes given the surprisingly amount of 150.000 words that one can have access when dominating these rules, as per researches say.

Do you know any book / book series or resource focused on this topic? No matter if they are aimed at English native speaker children.

    Re: Word formation process

You might do a search for Morphology. That is the linguistic term for how words are formed.
