When a young teacher, Clara, arrived

I am wondering if my sentence is grammatically correct.

When a young teacher, Clara, arrived in a godforsaken village, her first thought was, "Oh God, what have I done to deserve this?"

Consider changing either (or both) of the indefinite articles to the definite article.
