I have forgotten most of the story

Let me tell you a story. But I have forgotten most of the story so I will tell you the story as I remember it.

    Please check my sentence.

Re: I have forgotten most of the story

You don't need to say 'story' three times in two short sentences.

Re: I have forgotten most of the story

I want to tell you a story but I've forgotten a lot of it. I'll just tell you what I can remember.

(On that basis, don't expect the listener to be riveted by your storytelling. I suggest you tell them a story you can remember.)
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    Are my sentences wrong?

Re: I have forgotten most of the story

The repetition of 'story' is poor style, as Raymott suggested.

There is little point in uttering those sentences, as ems suggested.

Apart from that, they are fine.
