    Welcome to the forum.

    That is a very broad question. What do you already know about using past tenses? There is more than one past tense. We have the past simple, the present perfect, the past perfect, the simple past continuous, the present perfect continuous, and the past perfect continuous.
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
