The gang of bored and idle youth

I am wondering if my sentences are grammatically correct. Is it correct to say "idle youth"?

The gang of bored and idle youth set a car on fire. The flames spread over other vehicles, and soon about ten of them were in flames. As the firefighters arrived, the gang pelted them with stones and bottles.

See above. The youths were probably bored but if they were setting fire to a car, they weren't (at that moment) idle.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    emsr2d2,

Thank you for your explanations, which are so useful to me. I apology for asking again. I am only wondering why a comma is not necessary after "vehicles." I am asking just to know in case I ever write similar sentence.
