    The well-known actor's Mercedes swerved

I am wondering if my sentences are grammatically correct.

The well-known actor's Mercedes swerved off the road and smashed into a tree at high speed. But instead of admitting his mistake, he blamed the road workers, who according to him, had put up the double bend sign too close to the bend, so he had no time to notice the danger.

    See above.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

Re: The well-known actor's Mercedes swerved

    RobertJ,

The sentences I post on this forum are just grammatical exercises. I usually start with one word, in this case "swerve", and I then am trying to form a couple of sentences to see if I can describe a scene in correct English. I want to see where I make the most mistakes in my writing so that I can focus on that part of the grammar and avoid them in the future. While writing these sentences, I really did not think about the size of the tree.

I would change the first "he" to "the actor."
