    It was All Saints' Day

I am wondering if my sentence is grammatically correct.

It was All Saints' Day, and from early morning the frozen streets were filled with people in dark trudging towards the cemetery.

    Put a comma after "morning."

Re: It was All Saints' Day

I'd move the first comma to after "and" then put another one after "morning".
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

Re: It was All Saints' Day

I'd leave the punctuation as is.
