Kelly left the building, and walked down

    Hello.

Are the following sentences grammatically correct?

"Kelly left the building, and walked down in the street to took the school bus."

    Thanks.

A sentence ends with a period ("full stop" in BrE), question mark, or exclamation mark. You have only one sentence above.

Remove the comma and the word in. Change took to the infinitive, take. With these changes, the sentence will be OK.

    Consider "catch the school bus."
