Doesn't matter vs is not important

    Hello,
Can you tell me if there is a difference in use between:
    ' It doesn't matter' and ' It's not important'?
In the sentences below for example:
A car colour isn't important to me.
A car colour doesn't matter to me.

    Thank you in advance

If you are talking about buying a car, there is little difference.

See corrections above. Never put a space after an opening quotation mark.
