    After a spate of misjudgements and blunders

    I am wondering if my sentence is grammatically correct. I am not sure if my punctuation is correct either.

    After a spate of misjudgements and blunders, the whole country seemed to be tired of the president, even his wife, who, every evening, locked him out of their bedroom.
