Because of the back pain, Gina goes

I am wondering if my sentence is grammatically correct. Is it correct to use "the back pain" or should it be "her back pain"?

Because of the back pain, Gina goes to physiotherapy twice a week.

Remove the definite article unless a previous sentence has mentioned back pain and some other complaint. A more natural way to say this is Gina has/gets physiotherapy for back pain twice a week.
    I am not a teacher.

You could use "her back pain."

I'd use "back pain" or "her back pain" but, like Tdol, not "the back pain". However, I would use it if back pain and at least one other ailment had previously been mentioned.

Sarah gets terrible back pain and debilitating migraines. Because of the back pain, she has physio twice a week.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
