    Put someone off his stride

I have tried to use "put someone off his stride" in my sentences. Would you please correct my mistakes?

Michael has unshakeable self-confidence. Nobody seems to be able to put him off his stride. People sometimes ridicule him and throw insults at him, but he ignores them and goes on as usual. He will soon open his third factory.

    I don't see any mistakes.
