    global audience

Please help me make the conversation below sound natural as some kind of interview for a TV show or newspaper. Thanks a lot.

T: It is common knowledge that Danish design has also gained a lot of worldwide respect and approval. As exemplified by Arne Jacobsen, who is one of the grandfathers of modern Danish furniture and the minimalist Danish style. Arne Jacobsen (1902-1971) was also a successful architect. He is best remembered for his simple, yet elegant and functional chair designs. By the way, what do you think makes Denmark so charming and appealing to the global audience?

D: Every year millions of tourists visit Denmark. Some come to see attractions such as Tivoli, the Little Mermaid or Legoland. Others come to enjoy Danish food culture and the New Nordic Cuisine which today dominates the world of gastronomy. And some come to enjoy the Danish countryside with its many thousands of kilometers of coastline. But regardless of why many tourists visit Denmark, studies show that the friendly Danish population is always one of the greatest attractions.

T: As far as I know, Copenhagen is one of the most bike-friendly cities in the world. How did Denmark become a cycling nation?

D: Danish culture and bicycles are a match made in heaven. The Danish cycle-culture is as old as the bicycle itself. Copenhageners have used bicycles to transport themselves to work since the 1880s. Back then, commuting by bike was the fastest, easiest and most environmentally friendly way to move around the city—and it still is. Not only is it safe and easy to get around, but Copenhageners themselves are crazy for cycling, so getting on a bike here will bring you up close to authentic Danish culture.
