    How to determine time interval?

    I have two questions
    1) If I'm talking about life experience how can I determine the time interval ? For example: "I've seen this movie many times before, I don't want to see it again" or "I've eaten sushi before, it's really tasty" so what's the time interval for these examples?

    2) I just want to know if I understood this well or not. When I say "I've taken alot of beautiful photos since I bought this camere" so this is an unfinished action, and its interval starts when I bought the camera until now, and it will continue to the future. Is it correct?

Re: How to determine time interval?

Both of your questions betray a lack of understanding of the word "interval".

An interval is a period of time beginning at one specified point and ending at another.

"Interval" is becoming less used where I live, and it is a loss to the language. For example, our weather forecasters used to say "sunny with cloudy intervals" or "cloudy with sunny intervals", a distinction worth making. Nowadays they just say "a mix of sun and cloud." Information lost.

American weather forecasts may say "sunny with periods of clouds".

    1) Your life begins when you're born and continues to the present moment. Obviously, this is the timeframe within which you gain life experience.

    2) No, your understanding is not right. If you've taken a lot of photos with your camera, there have been multiple completed actions (not one unfinished action). The timeframe started when you bought the camera and continues to the present moment.
