    Difference between these sentences (Present and the another in Present Continuous)

    What is the difference in meaning between these sentences.

    I live in London.
    I am living in London.

    I work for Joe.
    I am working for Joe.

    I study math.
    I am studying math.

    The sentences in the first pair mean the same thing, more or less.

    In the second and third pairs, the first sentence means you regularly perform the activity but you may or may not be doing it at the moment you say it. The version using the present continuous means you are currently engaged in the named activity.
    I am not a teacher.

    We recommend posting a question on one forum only initially.
