    post/mail/email

Dictionaries say that Americans use "mail" while the British use "post" to mean a letter or package to be sent by the post office.
Now electronic mail and home-delivery services have become more readily available and I wonder if the British distinguish in usage between "post" and "mail": "post" for physical and domestic mail and "mail" only for overseas post as well as "email." I also wonder if they prefer to use "epost" rather than "email" these days.

In the US, the Postal Service delivers the mail.

In the UK, the Royal Mail delivers the post.

    First rule of epost.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
