Organic food is much more expensive than non-organic food.

    Hi,
I want to avoid repeating noun "food" in the second part. Could you please help me? I know for uncountable noun that we can't use "one".

Organic food is much more expensive than non-organic food.

Simply remove the word "food" at the end and you have a grammatical and understandable sentence.

As long as the same noun is being used in a comparison, you don't need to repeat it.

I prefer brown hair to blond.
He likes strong beer more than weak.
She drinks more red wine than white.
The kids have more red marbles than blue.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    Great !
Organic food is much more expensive than non-organic.

Can we use the last sentence in the following way only for countable or singular nouns?
The kids have more red marbles than blue ones.

You can use that but there is no need for the word "ones" at the end. It's already clear you're talking about marbles.
