    blow up one's complacency

    Dear Teachers,
Could you help me with this idiom, please? I cannot figure out its meaning. :(
    The original context is:
"Where is the creativity in any of this? We came here to blow up our complacency. I want to see some quantum leaps."
Thank you very much for your help.

    Re: blow up one's complacency

To 'blow up our complacency' means something like 'completely remove or destroy our complacency'.

Edit: You might be asking about 'quantum leaps', which in this context means 'significant progress'.
