    made up of

    ''In some countries,of course,
bicycles are also made up of noteworthy percentage of transportation.''

There are any mistakes at this sentence? Can I remove ''of'' ?

    Thanks for your help.

The bicycles 'make up' a noteworthy percentage. They aren't 'made up of' a percentage.

'Made up of' means 'consist of' or 'made of'. Bicycles are made of metal and plastic, not transportation percentiles.

However, transportation percentages are made up of bicycles, cars, trains, etc.

See above in red for the correct way to answer your question, and the answer to the second question.

In some countries, bicycles make up a noteworthy percentage of transportation.
