    the same/very ... (that ...)

    I wonder if:
    1. Sentence 1 is different from sentence 5 in meaning (as shown below).
    2. Sentences 3 and 4 are not used.
    3. Sentences 1 and 6 share the same meaning.
    4. Sentences 8 and 9 are grammatically correct.

    Example sentences
    1. She is the same person I saw at the station yesterday. (exactly the same person)
    2. She is the same person that I saw at the station yesterday.
    3. She is the same person who I saw at the station yesterday.
    4. She is the same person whom I saw at the station yesterday.
    5. She is the same person as I saw at the station yesterday. (the same kind of person)
    6. She is the very person I saw at the station yesterday.
    7. She is the very person that I saw at the station yesterday.
    8. She is the very person who I saw at the station yesterday.
    9. She is the very person whom I saw at the station yesterday.

    5. isn't a correct sentence.
    3. is OK. 4. is technically correct, but very few people would say 'whom' there.
    1. and 6. mean the same.
    8. and 9. - same as 3. and 4.
