Only the first one (with either of the red corrections) is grammatically correct. However, I can't say if it's true or not.

Thank you Skrej. It seems to me that parallelism needn't to be implied in "rather than" structures.

Re: I want to hang out with my friends

    I'd go for parallelism.

I want to hang out with my friends at the weekend rather than stay at home. (This refers to one specific weekend.)
I want to hang out with my friends at weekends rather than stay at home. (This is a more general statement, not referring to a specific weekend.)

("at the weekend" = BrE; "on the weekend" = AmE)

Note that you had an incorrect space before the full stop at the end of your sentence.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

Does sentence below follow parallelism pattern as well?

It does, but ems's version is more natural.
