    To speak vs speaking

    Could you tell me which of the sentences below is unnatural?

    1. To speak English is difficlut for him.
    2. Speaking Enlish is difficult for him.
    3. For him to speak English is difficult.
    4. It is difficult for him to speak English.
    5. It is difficult for him speakig English.
    6. For him, speaking English is difficult.
    7. For him, to speak English is diffiult.

    Not really, but it's better than 1. and 5.

    The word order is important.

    For him, it is difficult to speak English.
    Speaking English is difficult for him.

    After adjectives like "difficult" and "easy", we use the "to infinitive" but we don't tend to start sentences with it - we usually start with the gerund (a verb + ing being used as a noun).

    It is easy to eat.
    It is difficult to read.
    Eating it is easy.
    Reading it is difficult.
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
