    You give me feelings

Which of these compliments are still in use in the 21st century? I'm not quite sure if maybe some of them may sound outdated.

1 You give me feelings that I'm not really sure what to do with, but I sort of like it.
2 You're hotter than a 2 dollar pistol at an all night shoot out.
    3 You're as pretty as a peach.
4 When I'm with you, I'm happier than a dog with a dead skunk.
    5 I don't really like people, but you're cool.

Are they still in use? Except for #3 I'm not aware they've ever been in use.

Numbers 2 and 4 look like samples of a type of American metaphor sometimes known as Texas crude. One I used to hear (and have been known to utter myself) is "that's slicker'n deer guts on a doorknob!"

I knew this expression from an Alaskan. I don't think it is common. People who don't hunt deer will have a hard time understanding it.

    Re: You give me feelings

It's reasonably common here in southwest Ohio.
