    Question age

    Hello,

I'd like to ask a question about writing the age. Is it correct to write 'They are a 6-year-olds'? If not, please tell me how I should write this sentence.

    Thanks,

Oops! Sorry, that must've been a typing mistake. I meant 'They are six-year-olds'! Thanks very much!

    Re: age

    1. They are six years old.

    2. They are six-year-old children.

The hyphens are used only in the second example[adjective]
