    placement of "by myself"

I am going to make up an example and put "by myself" in two different positions.

    (1) I want to spend more time by myself thinking about my career options.

    (2) I want to spend more time thinking about my career options by myself.

As a non-native English speaker, I cannot figure out the correct position of "by myself" when talking to others. Please help me. Thank you very much.

    Re: placement of "by myself"

Sentence #1 is the better one in my opinion.
