    at the closest

Are they both correct and which is better?

Could you please deposit the balikbayan box at the closest LBC because the receiver alas doesn't have a full postal address?
Would you mind to deliver the balikbayan box to the next LBC because the recipient unfortunately doesn't have a full postal address?

    Re: at the closest

I had to look up what a "balikbayan" box is, but I don't know what an "LBC" is so I can't say whether the sentence is correct.

The first one, with "alas," is not at all natural.
The second one, with "unfortunately," is acceptable, but would be better if you leave that word out. "... because the recipient doesn't have a complete postal address."

I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
