    recirculation with thinner

    Hello.

Does "recirculation with thinner" mean "putting thinner into recirculation"?
After the application, all brushes and rags used should be thrown away, as should any cans used. Any attempt to use these will result in silicone contamination. The equipment should be thoroughly cleaned; this includes again removal of the filter and recirculation with thinner. Running old paint through (old is not a requirement, but just something that will not be used for any other purposes) helps remove the last of the silicone.

    What is your opinion?
    Thank you.

Yes, it means after the physical cleaning of the the equipment with rags and brushes followed by the filter replacement (throwing the old filter away) then thinner is circulated through the system.

It is not clear to me if "thinner" is part of the painting process or not. If it is, then what you are doing this to make sure the thinner line is clear of silicone contamination. However, just cleaning the "thinner" line does not necessarily mean the paint line is clear of contamination. That is why you need the next step to flush out the paint line.
Experience is recognizing a mistake the second time you make it.
