    Which one is correct?

    B) These days most people prefer spend a long time online than with families.

    They are all incorrect. C would be correct if you add to after "prefer".

    I would add "their" before families.
    You do not have to repeat "spend" in the sentence.

    It means we can use, but it is not necessary. Therefore, it is not wrong, but it is too wordy. Am I right? The reason Why I ask is that sometimes it is considered wrong.
