    He goes to bed earliest of all/the earliest of all.

    Are both variants correct?
    1) He goes to bed earliest of all.
    2) He goes to bed the earliest of all.

    I thought you don't need much context here... Ok, let it be a six-year-old boy, Jimmy, who lives with his mum, dad and his elder brother. Jimmy goes to bed at 9 p.m. while the others stay up late.
