    Which one should I say?
    1. It is the antidote to treat a skin cancer.
    2. It is an antidote to treat a skin cancer.

    An antidote treats poisoning. Write It is medicine for skin cancer.

    It is used to treat skin cancer.

    Note that we don't use the indefinite article before "skin cancer" there.

    "It is an antidote to treating skin cancer" is the opposite of treating cancer.
