    Monarch's or monarchs'

    Which form is correct: "monarch's family" or "monarchs' family". Or none?

    Use the first if there is one monarch and the second if two or more monarchs have the same family.

    Note that we can always give you a better (and usually faster) answer when you put isolated phrases into full sentences.
