    these round Harry Potter glasses

Can I use the following sentence to describe the person's glasses more precisely?
She wears these round Harry Potter glasses.

If I were a native speaker of English, I would never shut up. :-)

    It's okay in conversational English.
    I am not a teacher.

    Why "these" and not "those"?
I am not a teacher or a native speaker.

It's the way we phrase these expressions.

"Those" would be more natural in BrE unless the speaker was actually indicating a pair of glasses or a picture of them.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

I think it depends on the expression. We might be thinking of different things. In the following examples, the object/s aren't present.
"Be careful. He has these two large rottweilers." (not those)
"She's got this awful attitude." (not that)
