Re: My father compared my sister and me,

Unfortunately, you are by no means alone in being confused by this. Many native speakers- including those who know better- get it wrong, but they (and you) really shouldn't.

The easiest way to think about this kind of situation is to make use of the word and to separate each example into the two sentences they really are:

1a. My father compared my sister.
    and
    1b. My father compared me.

2a. My father compared my sister.
    and
    2b. My father compared I.

Now, I ask you: Which do you think is correct?

Thanks for your clue. It was helpful.
    I'd say:
    My father compared me.

Re: My father compared my sister and me,

You're right, of course! My father compared my sister and me...

How about this one? My sister and ____ were compared by my father.

Re: My father compared my sister and me,

The usual method of working it out should give you the answer. Remove "My sister" from the sentence and tell us what you would say if you were the only person involved.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    the answer is "I".
As you suggested, I split "and".

I were compared by my father.
My sister were compared by my farther.

You worked it the right way but you didn't spot that you then needed to change the verb (bear in mind the result is not a complete sentence).

I was compared by my father.
My sister was compared by my father. (You spelt "father" wrong.)
